VIDEOS FROM TRIP 2006   PHOTOS

F Sixth Avenue Local colored orange on route signs, station signs, and the official subway map, since it runs on the IND Sixth Avenue Line through Manhattan, from 179th Street in Jamaica, Queens to Stillwell Avenue in Coney Island, Brooklyn via Queens Boulevard, Sixth Avenue / 63rd Street, and Culver, making all stops except for an express section in Queens between Forest Hills – 71st Avenue and 21st Street – Queensbridge.

The F is one of only two services that travels through two East River tunnels on its route (the other being the R). It uses the 63rd Street Tunnel between Queens and Manhattan and Rutgers Street Tunnel between Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Today working on picture poem links starting around "better" (August 03, 2012). Picture poems are the digital format of work I did as a street artist in New Orleans in the 1970s, as well as New York City, Honolulu, San Francisco and Adelaide South Australia.
